Software Development Engineer, Devices & Services

Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving ability

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle
• Background in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and/or robotic systems
• Experience in developing highly-optimized CV and ML algorithms on resource-constrained platforms
• Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams globally
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud services
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguities

What you'll be doing

• Research and implement state-of-the-art computer vision and machine learning methods
• Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analysis
• Work in a collaborative environment with other engineers, scientists, and cross-functional teams
• Mentor and develop junior scientists on the team
