Requirements

Solid statistical skills—you’re confident with fundamentals and first-principles thinking in statistics and machine learning theory.
Strong engineering background—you write clean, maintainable Python code and SQL queries, following best practices for production systems.
Deep expertise in at least one relevant domain (e.g., causal inference, time series, Bayesian methods, neural networks, NLP/LLM, ranking/matching, advanced experimentation).
Thoughtful approach—you challenge assumptions and care deeply about working with clean, trustworthy data.
Substantial experience in a business environment where you developed a strong business understanding.
Clear communicator—you can distill complex requirements from many stakeholders into a clear, MVP-ready direction.

Nice to Have

Design and implement automation and experimentation algorithms for pricing, from conception to production.
Take technical ownership and uphold high quality standards within the team. Mentor junior team members.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders and translate business needs into data science solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest research and suggest state-of-the-art models to improve customer outcomes.
Contribute to long-term strategic planning and defining a short-term roadmap to tackle complex and meaningful data problems.
