Data Center Facilities Technician, Electrical

Requirements:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of electrical experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs of equipment.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and shifts.

Nice to haves:

• 2 years of experience in maintenance of electrical distribution systems or construction/technical environment.
• Experience in data centers, hospitals, power plants, or laboratories.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Operate, monitor, and support physical facility conditions, including HVAC systems, power supplies, generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution, and control/monitoring systems.
• Drive environmental sustainability and operational excellence by implementing engineering solutions.
• Manage the uptime and maintenance of various electrical systems.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new electrical equipment and systems.
