Senior Backend Engineer I

Requirements:

• Strong experience working on the backend of a technology product
• Want to be involved in building a product used daily
• Product mindset: care about customer outcomes and make data-informed decisions
• Comfortable working in a team that deals with ambiguity
• Interested in distributed systems and writing resilient software
• Some experience with strongly-typed languages (Go, Java, C, Scala etc.)

What you'll be doing:

• Collaborating with your team to make a difference to customers
• Working in a squad alongside various disciplines
• Building and supporting a specific part of Monzo
• Contributing to the wider collectives at Monzo
