Data Scientist (L5) - Studio Metrics & Strategy - EMEA

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or related quantitative field
• 5+ years of relevant experience with causal inference methods, including quasi-experimental designs
• Strong statistical knowledge, preferably in experimentation or observational causal analysis
• Expertise in SQL and Python
• Data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, metric design, causal inference, and data storytelling skills
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Curious self-starter comfortable in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Extensive EMEA region experience and collaboration skills

What You'll Be Doing

• Be the first Applied Inference Data Scientist in the Content Production Data Science & Engineering org
• Collaborate with Content Operations & Innovation leaders on metrics and analytics
• Enhance content operations efficiency through analytics and causal inference
• Lead experimental design, analysis, and interpretation
• Present research to business and product partners
• Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders
• Explore operational data to improve content for Netflix's members
• Become an expert on Studio Data Science & Engineering in your region
