Requirements

5+ years of extensive experience building and scaling data infrastructure in high-growth environments
Proven experience in startup environments with track record of wearing multiple hats and driving initiatives independently
Deep expertise in modern data stack tools, particularly Snowflake and dbt
Strong background in data modeling, schema design, and data architecture at scale
Demonstrated experience implementing data quality frameworks and observability solutions
Experience building and scaling experimentation (A/B testing) infrastructure
Expert-level SQL skills and proficiency in Python
Track record of successfully managing data infrastructure during periods of explosive growth

Experience with our tech stack: Snowflake, dbt, Rudderstack, Sigma Computing, Metaplane, Eppo
Experience with blockchain or cryptocurrencies
History of improving dashboard performance and query optimization at scale
Experience implementing data cataloging and metadata management solutions

Architecture & Scale: Design and implement robust data architecture capable of handling 100s of TBs with 10x growth trajectory while maintaining performance and reliability
Data Quality Leadership: Drive data quality initiatives across the organization, implementing observability and monitoring solutions to ensure data accuracy, freshness, and reliability
Data Modeling Excellence: Lead sophisticated data modeling efforts to support exponential business growth, ensuring scalability and performance
Experimentation Infrastructure: Build and scale A/B testing frameworks to enable data-driven decision making across the organization
Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions
Technical Leadership: Mentor teams on data best practices and drive adoption of data-driven methodologies
