Senior Agentic AI Engineer

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and operating scalable distributed systems in production environments.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building high-availability services.
• Solid foundation in distributed systems, scalable architectures, and data modeling.
• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LiteLLM), including streaming, tool calling, and structured outputs.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, Agno, or similar) and protocols such as A2A and MCP.
• Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and semantic retrieval systems.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with distributed data platforms (Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, SingleStore, or similar).
• Understanding evaluation of metrics (NDCG, MAP, precision/recall) and online A/B testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of ranking strategies, experimentation methodologies, and relevance optimization.
• Knowledge of JavaScript or Java is a plus.

What you'll be doing

• Contribute to building AI-native systems where agents, LLMs, and recommendation engines collaborate to deliver personalized digital experiences on a global scale.
• Design and implement agentic AI systems that combine LLM reasoning, tools, structured data, and multi-agent orchestration (A2A, MCP) to deliver adaptive customer experiences.
• Create and contribute to engineering designs and architectures that address real product and platform challenges at the Adobe scale.
• Prototype rapidly, run PoCs, experiment with emerging AI capabilities, and iterate based on measurable impact.
• Implement evaluation, monitoring, and Responsible AI guardrails to ensure reliability, fairness, and production readiness.
