Senior Software Engineer - ML/AI

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering
• 2+ years dedicated to building and deploying production-ready GenAI models
• Practical experience in building and deploying RAG systems using vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or Qdrant
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and MLOps principles
• Proactive self-starter with a launch fast and iterate approach
• Exceptional communicator capable of translating complex insights to stakeholders
• Champion for a data-centric culture

What you'll be doing:

• Discover and Build: Proactively engage with product and engineering teams to uncover critical challenges and design AI prototypes quickly
• Develop Strategic AI Products: Own the development of bespoke AI tools tailored to Adyen's scale
• Drive the AI Roadmap: Translate ambiguous business problems into a tangible roadmap and focus on delivering measurable results
• Lead and mentor: Initiate, guide, and inspire others in complex features or systems
• Push the Boundaries of Tech Stack: Become an expert on internal systems and external AI platforms to enhance payment processing
