Senior Software Development Engineer - Ring AI Data and QA Automation

Requirements

• Multiple years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in more than one programming language (Typescript, Python, Java, or similar)
• Experience building data pipelines, tooling, or infrastructure for ML/AI systems
• Experience with test automation frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver complex technical projects independently

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain AI validation frameworks for automated testing of Ring device AI features
• Build data coordination tooling for collection, annotation, and auditing workflows to support ML model development
• Implement continuous testing solutions for initiatives such as device onboarding validation and hardware stress testing
• Create scalable automation frameworks to improve testing coverage and reliability across the AI feature portfolio
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define data requirements, quality standards, and testing strategies
• Contribute to technical design decisions and establish best practices for the team
