Software Development Engineer, Amazon Stores

Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining micro-services hosted in AWS
• Adding new front-end features to existing tools
• Improving performance and operational costs
• Researching solutions for technically ambiguous problems
• Mentoring other engineers
