System Development Engineer - Image Quality, RBKS Camera and Imaging, RBKS Camera and Imaging

Requirements

• MSc or equivalent
• Deep understanding of image processing pipelines
• Working experience in image quality validation and testing methodologies
• Proficiency with objective image quality metrics (SNR, MTF, color accuracy, dynamic range, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills using Python or MATLAB for data analysis and visualization
• Experience with subjective image quality assessment and test protocol development

Nice to Haves

• Experience with automated image quality testing frameworks and tools
• Familiarity with industry-standard image quality test charts and measurement equipment
• Experience working with factory manufacturing and production validation
• Hardware validation and debugging experience
• Understanding of sensor characteristics and raw image processing

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop automated testing systems that validate ISP performance and image quality
• Develop new automated validation pipelines, build CI-integrated test frameworks, and create tools for image quality assessment
• Collaborate with imaging experts to resolve quality issues and present validation results to stakeholders
• Lead testing automation and quality assurance efforts for new Ring camera products
