Application Builder, Ring

Requirements

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems
• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Android mobile application development experience in Java and Kotlin

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Experience optimizing apps for performance
• Experience writing testable code and automated tests
• Experience with REST architecture for web services
• Working knowledge of both Android and iOS platforms
• Experience adopting AI-powered development tools in real production work

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and ship features for the Ring app, primarily in Android
• Write high-quality, well-tested code with performance, reliability, and maintainability in mind
• Work on emerging features and contribute on iOS when required
• Collaborate with various teams to deliver cohesive end-to-end experiences
• Participate in design and code reviews
