Application Builder, Ring

Requirements

• Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems
• Experience in professional, non-internship software development
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• iOS mobile application development experience in Swift

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

What you'll be doing

• Design, build, and ship features for the Ring app, working primarily in iOS and contributing on Android where required
• Write high-quality, well-tested code with performance, reliability, and maintainability in mind
• Use AI-powered development tools effectively across your day-to-day work
• Contribute to the evolution of the team's architecture
• Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and platform partners to deliver cohesive experiences
• Help maintain operational excellence, resolve issues, fix bugs, and improve observability
• Participate in design and code reviews
