Senior Software Engineer, Platform Reliability

Requirements:

• Strong software engineering background
• 7+ years of experience building and operating backend systems at scale
• Familiarity with distributed systems patterns
• Experience with major cloud platforms, Terraform, and monitoring tools
• Experience defining and working within explicit reliability and performance targets
• Clear communicator and strong collaborator

Nice to Haves:

• Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and build core platform systems like load shedding, circuit breakers, and rate limiting
• Own critical platform concerns such as ingress and egress
• Define stable interfaces and libraries for other platform teams
• Lead end-to-end projects and work across multiple platform teams
• Debug hard problems across the stack and prevent future occurrences
• Share knowledge through code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship
