Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
12+ years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale commercial software systems
Proven experience leading architecture and delivery of complex platform initiatives spanning multiple teams
Deep expertise in software engineering with strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Go, C++, TypeScript, Node.js, C#, Python, Java or similar (Experience with Go and C++ is particularly valued)
Strong experience designing distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native applications and API design
Experience with any modern cloud platform such as AWS (preferred) or Azure
Strong understanding of data architecture and database technologies
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and modern software delivery practices
Strong understanding of system design, scalability, reliability, security, and performance optimization
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to Haves

Experience building multi-tenant B2B SaaS platforms
Experience operating large-scale cloud services in production environments
Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and cloud observability practices
Experience building Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) and micro frontends
Experience with WebGL, 3D visualization technologies, or digital twin platforms
Familiarity with industrial and manufacturing domains (design, simulation, digital twin, operations), Smart Factory / Industry 4.0 solutions, facility operations, asset management, AEC etc.
Familiarity with industrial simulation technologies, including discrete event simulation
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

Own the end-to-end delivery of major platform initiatives
Design and build scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native services
Partner with Autodesk Architects and Engineering Leaders to define and drive the technical vision and architecture
Establish engineering standards, architectural patterns, and best practices
Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering leaders
Guide teams through complex technical challenges
Lead design reviews, provide technical mentorship, and elevate engineering excellence
Contribute hands-on to software development across full stack technologies
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Champion operational excellence through observability, automation, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement practices
Participate in Agile planning and execution activities

Competitive starting base salary between 307,000 PLN and 449,900 PLN
