Systems Engineer, AWS

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Linux system administration and good troubleshooting skills at all levels, from application to network to host
• Experience of systems automation using BASH, Python, Perl, etc
• Experience of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP)

Nice to haves

• Exposure to cloud computing concepts and design considerations
• Knowledge of configuration management systems, such as: Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or related systems

• Help engineers develop a broad range of skills
• Troubleshoot, innovate fixes, and workarounds using Linux skills
• Identify and troubleshoot network connectivity issues using networking knowledge
• Communicate clearly, collaborate with others, and deliver results
