Software Development Engineer - RDS Platform, RDS

Requirements

• Experience leading the architecture and design of new and current systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Experience in professional, non-internship software development
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and deploying quality solutions to help customers interface with the RDS service at scale via API and graphical interfaces
• Supporting the development and management of various AWS Utility Computing services
