Software Development Engineer

Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

• Work on backend and customer-facing systems for Amazon SES
• Contribute to the development and improvement of email services
• Collaborate with other engineers to solve complex technical challenges
• Ensure services are highly available and scalable
