Software Development Engineer, Penrose Networks

Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Ability to produce high output of high-quality code by overseeing multiple AI agents

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle
• Knowledge of modern programming languages (Rust, Java, C/C++)
• Solid understanding of the Linux operating system

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop world-class software systems for automating Amazon's network
• Provide technical direction to the team and identify areas of focus
• Create and review software design documentation
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers and Scholars for smooth roll-out of new designs
• Own the operational excellence of the software in production
• Contribute to improving documentation, processes, and tools
