Requirements

• 5+ years of production systems software experience with operational track record
• Deep working knowledge of applied cryptography and PKI
• Familiarity with HSMs and strong systems programming background
• Distributed systems fluency and experience in database schema design

Nice to Haves

• Experience with a CA or large-scale internal PKI
• Familiarity with various PKI codebases and WebTrust audit engagements
• Comfort with post-quantum cryptography and browser trust-establishment proposals
• Participation in relevant working groups or communities

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and building core PKI systems and cryptographic infrastructure
• Owning the cryptographic core and automating at scale
• Maintaining accreditation and representing Cloudflare in the WebPKI community
• Shipping the post-quantum future and partnering across the organization
