Senior AI Engineer – Notebooks

Requirements

• Experience with Go, Python or similar systems programming languages
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Hands-on experience delivering production AI-powered products and customer-facing experiences using LLM technologies
• Approach engineering through a strong product mindset
• Experience building reliable systems managing model non-determinism

What You'll be Doing

• Lead the design and delivery of AI-powered product experiences for Notebooks and adjacent surfaces
• Develop systems combining deterministic product capabilities with LLM-powered experiences
• Partner closely with Product to translate customer problems into technical decisions
• Build experiences enabling Datadog capabilities within third-party AI platforms
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship
• Own production systems including backend services in customer deployments
