Senior Software Engineer, Android

Requirements

• Several years of experience building Android applications at scale
• Backend development experience, specifically with Golang, Kotlin, and Protobuf
• Experience building or maintaining a server-driven / declarative UI system
• A product mindset and the instinct to apply it to design platform services
• Strong communication skills, working across disciplines and time zones
• Pride in software craft, commitment to writing well-designed and thoroughly tested code

What You'll Be Doing

• Drive technical execution by designing and evolving the Android SDUI renderer
• Lead architectural improvements and code reviews
• Partner with cross-functional disciplines to plan rollouts and influence the roadmap
• Own large-scale initiatives from design to delivery
