Data Science Manager – Delivery Team

Requirements

• Experience line managing data scientists and developing high-performing teams
• A strong background as a senior data science individual contributor
• Strong expertise in experimentation and causal inference
• The ability to reason through complex systems and understand how changes in one area affect wider network outcomes
• Experience translating analysis into operational, product, or commercial decisions
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders
• The ability to bring structure to ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and shape a clear roadmap

What You'll Be Doing

• Rider pay, incentives, and surge pricing
• Rider supply and fleet sizing at a local level
• Balancing supply and consumer demand
• Load management and network performance
• Understanding rider behavior, including changes in acceptance rates
• Using experimentation to understand how riders and the network respond to changes
• Improving operational and economic levers across the delivery system
