Senior Data Scientist - (Global Search, Consumer)

Requirements

• Master's degree (or Bachelor's with 6+ years of work experience) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field
• 4+ years of industry experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer applying ML in high-traffic production environments
• Hands-on experience with deep learning ranking architectures like DCN-V2, MMoE, Two-Tower
• Proficiency with LLM coding agents and agentic CLI tools
• Expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, SQL, cloud environments, and big-data processing
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mentality
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, globally distributed teams

Nice to Haves

• Experience with A/B experimentation frameworks and MLOps practices

• Design, build, and productionalize deep neural ranking models
• Drive ML research using agentic automated experimentation
• Lead feature engineering and model architecture innovation
• Ensure production reliability and maintain model health
• Collaborate with various disciplines to deliver improvements
• Mentor junior and mid data scientists and drive best practices
