Senior Data Engineer, Ads Data Platform

Requirements:

• Broad understanding of Computer Science and ability to communicate complex arguments
• Strong experience with JVM languages like Java, Kotlin, and Scala
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, and ClickHouse
• Experience partnering with Engineering and Product teams

What you'll be doing:

• Craft a platform for eBay sellers and advertisers to measure the performance of their advertising campaigns in near real time
• Build highly available, scalable software applications and deploy code continuously
• Redefine the advertising space for eBay and beyond by collaborating with various specialists
• Contribute to eBay’s internal open-source community and lead technical discussions within the team
