iOS Software Engineer

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in designing, building, refactoring, and releasing native apps
• Expertise in Xcode
• Able to own a feature of an iOS application and develop it fully
• Proven experience with Swift/Objective-C
• Experience with pairing, code reviews, and maintaining high-quality code
• Working knowledge of modern iOS APIs, Swift Concurrency, SwiftUI/UIKit, and architectural patterns for mobile apps

What you'll be doing

• Help support Xcode, OS, and tooling updates
• Support Core Product developers with debugging Xcode and new OS feature issues
• Collaborate with Core Product domain on feature and architecture implementation
• Advocate for improvements in code and culture
• Work well with team members, teams, and partner with other organizations within eBay

Nice to Haves

• Preferred experience with Swift’s Combine framework: Functional programming, reactive software architecture, decoupled APIs
