Software Engineer - Ads G&T Data

Requirements:

• Broad understanding of Computer Science and ability to simplify and articulate complex arguments.
• Experience with JVM languages like Java, Kotlin, and Scala.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, and ClickHouse.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with Engineering and Product teams.

What you'll be doing:

• Craft a platform for eBay sellers and advertisers to measure the performance of their advertising campaigns in near real time and enhance sales.
• Build highly available, scalable software applications with a continuous delivery approach.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate in the advertising space for eBay.
• Participate in eBay's internal open-source community and share knowledge with the team.
• Lead technical discussions and make decisions on tools and approaches.
