Senior Full Stack Developer

Requirements

• Relevant team experience: You have at least 3+ years relevant engineering experience working in multi-functional product teams, or as part of a product company.
• Relevant technology experience: You have solid knowledge of TypeScript, with a track-record of building backend services in Node.js and frontend experiences in React.js. You have experience writing production code, with performance and scalability in mind.
• A product perspective: You understand and care about the users’ needs, and strive to build solutions that solve their problems.
• Strong problem-solving skills: You work closely with the tech lead in your team to develop solutions for sophisticated problems, asking questions to your team and other collaborators along the way.
• Curiosity: You thrive when diving into existing, complex codebases, and learn quickly.
• Superb communication skills: You ask questions when you are stuck, share knowledge with your team, and clearly communicate progress to collaborators.

What you'll be doing

• Solving problems together: Collaborate on solving problems with other engineers, designers, and product managers in the team.
• Dive into your domain: In order to solve complex user problems together, all members of the team need to fully understand the domains they own. They can clearly communicate their domain expertise to colleagues in other teams and departments.
• Mentor other engineers: Help colleagues grow their skills, improve their communication, and work smarter.
• Deliver end-to-end: The senior full stack developer is expected to implement features from database query, the APIs, and the user interface. For larger projects, you might spend more time backend while pairing up with a dedicated web and mobile developers.
• Evolve the platform with other developers: Our teams share codebases, so you will collaborate with developers across teams to ensure a healthy codebase, shared standards, thoughtful AI adoption, strong code reviews, and overall developer happiness.
