Senior Software Engineer (Frontend focused)

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience
• Expertise in web application development using component-based frameworks
• High proficiency in TypeScript
• Experience designing architecture and deployment of web applications & services
• Experience with writing tests
• Ability to turn ideas into fast, reliable, and maintainable code
• Positive, proactive team player who is passionate about their craft
• Customer-centric prioritization and data-driven decision making
• Mature judgment in choosing when and how to use AI tools, proactively lead the team in adopting and evaluating new AI technologies, and support others in applying AI effectively while maintaining strong standards for quality, security, and governance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to Haves

• Backend experience with Java and Springboot
• Experience with A/B testing, hypothesis building, and event-based analytics
• Knowledge of frameworks and toolchains such as Node.js, Vue.js, or similar component-based Frontend application frameworks
• Prior experience working in the e-commerce space
• Prior experience in start-up environments

What You'll Be Doing

• Work as a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend focus) in a product team
• The role is an 80/20 full-stack position, working primarily with TypeScript and Node.js on the Backend
• Working closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders
• Focusing on designing, launching, and iterating on A/B experiments
• Designing and developing efficient, scalable solutions
• Prioritizing mentoring other team members and participating in the hiring process
