Proven experience leading hands-on engineering teams, with a strong technical background, to establish and grow a new team in Warsaw supporting a global KYC (Know Your Customer) platform
Demonstrated ability to recruit, interview, and hire top engineering talent; provides effective technical leadership, career mentorship, and project delivery oversight within the team
Track record of collaborating across globally distributed engineering organizations partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Financial Crimes Compliance, and other Engineering teams
Experience with real-time systems/messaging infrastructures
Experience with full stack development
Familiarity with build/deployment/runtime tools e.g. Gradle, Maven, Git, Spring, Kubernetes, Cloud
Finance, Securities Lending and Equities knowledge a strong plus
Familiarity with building and running resilient and scalable systems

Establish and lead a new Warsaw-based engineering team delivering high-quality, scalable KYC capabilities as part of a global platform
Build and nurture team talent: conduct interviews, make hiring decisions, onboard engineers, set goals, provide technical guidance, and coach career growth
Partner closely with global engineering peers (Salt Lake City, Bengaluru, Hyderabad) to co-develop shared services, align roadmaps, and uphold engineering standards
Develop a deep understanding how markets function front-to-back in the finance domain covering trading, client flow and transaction management
Develop good project management skills & leadership skills
Develop strong skills in programming and technical architecture design
