Software Engineer III, Google Search

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with one or more of the following, such as speech/audio, reinforcement learning, or specialization in another ML field.
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).

Nice to haves:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Experience with building classifiers, machine learning, AI, ranking, research.
• Experience coding in C++ or Python.

What you'll be doing:

• Build safety models used across all Google products.
• Work with the latest technologies to build classifiers from simple and fast linear models to complex, deep neural networks.
• Find ways to improve Google's search results and data collection and analysis.
• Prototype new ranking algorithms.
