Lead, Energy Market Development (Finnish, English)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science, Law, Policy, Economics, or equivalent practical experience
• 6 years of experience negotiating and structuring agreements or leading business development
• Experience working on policy or regulation in Europe related to electricity markets or networks
• Fluency in Finnish and English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in power transmission, telecommunications, data center technology, or related technical areas
• Knowledge of European energy markets, grid tariffs, market design, and regulatory frameworks
• Experience within energy regulator or a large electricity user
• Familiarity with Finland's energy market design and stakeholder ecosystem

• Evaluate regulatory and policy environments in Europe related to electricity industry trends
• Develop energy positions for electricity supply needs and engage in regulatory strategies
• Lead advocacy work to advance Google's energy priorities
• Support energy supply agreements and collaborate on global infrastructure and policy
