Facilities Technician, Electrical

Requirements

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of electrical experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and shifts.

Nice to haves

• 5 years of experience in maintenance of electrical distribution systems or related field.
• Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
• Knowledge of electrical systems used in a data center environment.
• Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to communicate with contractors performing maintenance work.

What you'll be doing

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems.
• Provide daily assistance to technicians and assess system working order.
• Manage maintenance of UPS, generators, electrical distribution, and monitoring systems.
• Support startup and integration of new electrical equipment into infrastructure.
