Data Center Facilities Technician, Electrical (English, German)

Requirements:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of Electrical experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs of equipment.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and differing work rotations/shifts.
• Fluency in English and German.

Nice to haves:

• 5 years of experience in maintenance of electrical distribution systems or construction/technical environment.
• Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
• Knowledge of electrical systems used in data center environments.
• Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to communicate with contractors for maintenance work.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems.
• Provide daily assistance to technicians and assess system working order.
• Manage the uptime and maintenance of critical systems.
• Operate, monitor, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems.
• Support startup and integration of new electrical equipment.
