Technical Operations Engineer, Data Center, Cybersecurity

Requirements

• Experience with cyber security, cyber threat intelligence, and security assessment.
• Experience with IT asset management, IT operations, system administration, network administration, and data center technology.

Nice to Haves

• 2 years of experience in network engineering, asset configuration management, or cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience in power, water or gas utilities, nuclear engineering, oil and gas industries, water purification, telecommunications, military service, or other critical infrastructure management.
• Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) packages such as Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk, Schneider Electric Power SCADA Operations, and Inductive Automation Ignition.
• Knowledge of basic process controls and related equipment (e.g., Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Remote Input/Output (RIO), protection relays, power meters, etc.).
• Experience with Linux and bash shell scripting.
• Understanding of various communication protocols, database processes, and field networks.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and patch Linux machines used in the GDC OT environment.
• Maintain and patch Human Machine Interface (HMI) machines and OT devices for improved security.
• Maintain switches and networking infrastructure below PMS/BMS switches.
• Maintain active directory configuration and troubleshooting.
• Ensure disaster recovery readiness and support training for new hires.
