Senior Software Engineer, Approximation Algorithms, AI Query Processing

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience testing, launching software products, software design, and architecture.
• Experience with large-scale data processing.

Nice to haves:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience or interest in project and integration chain coordination.
• Knowledge of approximation methods and randomized algorithms.
• Knowledge of database indexing design, ML algorithms, or computational geometry.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:

• Work on artificial intelligence components for query processing.
• Build new sketching libraries and approximation methods for Machine Learning workloads.
• Optimize and maintain existing sketching libraries.
• Advise user teams on algorithm choices and participate in team rotation for troubleshooting.
• Work with partner teams on toolstack integrations and library adoptions.
