Strategic Negotiator, Data Center Site Acquisition and Development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Infrastructure, Real Estate or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience managing projects or supporting the planning and development of agreements.
• Ability to communicate in French and English fluently to support client relationships in the region.

Nice to haves:

• Experience in indirect taxes, economic development policy, financial modeling, infrastructure development, agreement drafting and presentation development.
• Experience with site selection for industrial-scale projects, real estate transactions, real estate evaluations, acquisitions, development, construction, utility agreements, energy-related issues, clean energy initiatives, financial modeling, and large collocation agreements.
• Experience in acquiring or developing data centers within Belgium.
• Knowledge of power transmission and distribution, telecommunications infrastructure, data center technology, industrial electrical and cooling technology, and related areas.

What you'll be doing:

• Work with internal and external technical teams to identify, define, and pursue initiatives necessary to meet Google's data center needs.
• Manage existing data center portfolios of leased and owned sites throughout Belgium.
• Manage the strategy for portfolio growth at existing sites.
• Develop metrics for mapping, tracking, and managing a broad range of portfolio issues regarding site and infrastructure development.
• Cultivate relationships with key industry partners, economic development officials, and utility providers.
