Data Center Facilities Technician, Controls

Requirements

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in troubleshooting with automation and instrumentation systems.
• Ability to work non-standard hours (shifts, weekends, holidays) and varying outdoor environmental conditions.

Nice to haves

• Experience in mission critical facilities (data centers, hospitals, power plants).
• Experience in planning, execution, installation, and commissioning of manufacturer equipment and industry protocols.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Ability to perform material handling and work on platforms, ladders, and under raised floors.

What you'll be doing

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems.
• Provide daily assistance to technicians by reading blueprints, conducting tours, and assessing system working order.
• Operating, monitoring, maintaining, and responding to abnormal conditions in data center facilities systems.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new controls equipment and systems into facilities infrastructure.
