Staff Software Engineer, GKE Networking

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms in C++, Go or Java
• 5 years of experience testing, launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture
• 5 years of experience building large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture
• 5 years of experience in Network Infrastructure
• Experience with Kubernetes

Nice to Haves

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3 years of experience in technical leadership roles
• 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead architectural planning, evolution, and deliverables for GKE networking features
• Plan strategy, execution, and deliverables for GKE development in networking virtualization
• Design and develop network connectivity, security, and services solutions
• Lead design and development of network virtualization solutions for container workloads
• Assist external GKE customers facing production cluster issues

Perks and Benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, experience, and education. Salary range in Poland: zł480,000 - zł492,000 (PLN) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google.
