Network Operations Engineer, Optical Transport

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in Optical or IP network operations.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with Unix/Linux administration, with scripting/coding.
• Ability to work weekend days and shifts outside of normal business hours.
• Ability to communicate in English fluently for client relationship management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills.

What you'll be doing:

• Monitor network stability and performance, ensuring 24x7 operations.
• Troubleshoot service impacting issues involving the network.
• Act as a point of contact for problem reports and network status communication.
• Execute planned network maintenance work, minimizing impact to services.
