Software Engineer, Agent Building, Applied AI, Google Cloud Platform

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
• 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
• Experience with core GenAI concepts and text, image, video, or audio generation.

Preferred skills:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in solving customer problems by delivering technical solutions and tangible business outcomes.
• Experience in Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dialogflow.
• Experience in prompt development, model evaluation, and creative AI application.
• Ability to be flexible and resilient in dynamic environments.

What you'll be doing:

• Partnering directly with select customers to understand their business issues and develop custom conversational AI solutions.
• Solving high-level problems by writing bespoke code, developing custom tools, and contributing to core product codebases.
• Systematizing learnings from customer engagements and creating reusable tools and best practices.
• Providing feedback to Product and Engineering teams and acting as a subject matter expert for technical guidance.
