Network Operations Engineer, Sovereign Operations, Hampshire

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Security, or related field
• 3 years of experience with Linux Systems Administration and cloud native networking
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, Poweshell
• Designing and implementing secure networks using various technologies
• Active or ability to obtain a Developed Vetting (DV) UK security clearance

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Kubernetes production workloads
• Designing and implementing configuration management solutions like Ansible, Terraform
• Understanding Kubernetes networking model and experience with CNI plugins and Service Mesh
• Strong communication, partner management, and attention to detail
• Current UK Security Check (SC) or UK Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance

What You'll Be Doing:

• Engage and improve the life cycle of secure cloud platform network systems
• Assist in building an ecosystem for software automation within secure networks
• Maintain, secure, and debug cross-cluster communications in Kubernetes infrastructure
• Automate network changes to improve reliability and performance
• Drive Infrastructure as Code and GitOps pipelines for network configurations
