Software Engineer III, AI Agents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
• Experience with distributed computing.

Nice to Haves

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects or managing developer communities.
• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies or agentic frameworks.

What You'll Be Doing

• Expand the core capabilities, performance, and developer experience of Go, Java, and Kotlin Agent Development Kits to support a global developer base.
• Drive widespread Agent Development Kit adoption through deep integration across key AI platforms.
• Design and deploy comprehensive tooling, libraries, and frameworks that optimize the full AI agent lifecycle, including testing, debugging, deployment, and observability.
• Collaborate with internal and external developers to understand their needs and translate them into new features and improvements for the AI agent ecosystem.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
