Data Center Facilities Technician I, Mechanical

Requirements

• Experience in mechanical/heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), or electrical.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs (23 kg) of equipment.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and work rotations/shifts.

Nice to haves

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or related training program certification in a relevant technical field.
• Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
• Experience at Apprenticeship or Technician level in a critical environment.

What you'll be doing

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems such as piping and mechanical system components.
• Provide daily assistance to technicians as you read blueprints/schematics/sequence of operations.
• Manage the uptime and maintenance of water pumps, HVAC systems, and more.
