Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, GenAI, Google Cloud

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience building and shipping production-grade AI-driven solutions to customers using Python, Typescript, or comparable languages.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions to define AI and hardware infrastructure requirements.
• Experience designing and building AI systems on cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data, including vector databases.

Nice to Haves:

• Master’s degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with multi-agent systems using frameworks like LangGraph or Google’s Agent Development Kit.
• Knowledge of large language model native metrics and optimization techniques.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead development for AI applications, transitioning from prototypes to production-grade workflows.
• Architect and code connections between Google’s AI products and customer infrastructure.
• Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for agentic systems.
• Identify technical patterns and friction points to improve Google’s AI stack.
• Mentor talent, co-build with customer teams, and influence technical strategies.

Perks and Benefits:

Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education. Salary range in Poland is zł480,000 - zł492,000 (PLN) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits.
