IT Infrastructure Engineer (Technicien Systèmes et Réseaux)

Requirements:

• Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware and server hardware.
• Experience with the assembly of mechanical or electrical systems, or performing component-level repairs and troubleshooting on technical equipment.
• Experience with networking protocols.
• Ability to lift/move up to 23kg of equipment and exert oneself physically over extended periods of time.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, and holidays.

Nice to haves:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in maintenance and monitoring of server systems.
• Experience working within a data center or network operation center environment.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with performing component-level repairs and troubleshooting on IT equipment or in a similar role.

What you'll be doing:

• Monitor, maintain, and deploy the physical infrastructure for Google's technology.
• Contribute to deployment, maintenance, and support of data center servers and network infrastructure.
• Install and maintain switches, routers, and other networking gear.
• Diagnose and repair broken equipment, including servers, networking, and storage devices.
• Support conditions for servers, ensure optimal functionality and connectivity, and oversee maintenance of critical systems.
