Software Engineer III, Site Reliability Engineering, GCP Identity

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• Experience coding in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go.
• Experience with algorithms and data structures or Unix/Linux systems internals (e.g., filesystems, system calls) and administration.

Nice to haves:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 2 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and automation.
• Hands-on experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or DevOps engineer.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (e.g., OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML)
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies (e.g., GCP) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)

What you'll be doing:

• Write product or system development code.
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
