Data Center Facilities Technician, Electrical (German, English)

Requirements:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of electrical experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, or moving up to 50 lbs of equipment.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and differing work rotations/shifts.
• Fluency in German and English for communication with local vendors.

Nice to haves:

• 2 years of experience in maintenance of electrical distribution systems or related field.
• Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
• Knowledge of electrical systems used in a data center environment.
• Experience with meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to communicate with contractors performing maintenance work.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems.
• Assist technicians with reading blueprints, conducting tours, and assessing system working order.
• Manage uptime and maintenance of critical systems like UPS, generators, etc.
• Operate, monitor, and respond to abnormalities in data center facilities.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new electrical equipment.
