Software Engineer II, Full Stack

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with full stack development.
• Familiarity with AI tooling or willingness to learn and use them.
• Ability to work on individual as well as team projects.
• Ability to learn new technologies, and to adapt to different project types.
• Excellent communication skills.

What You'll Be Doing

• Write high-quality, well-documented, and tested code, incorporating feedback from team members.
• Use existing tools and processes to solve familiar problems, escalating complex challenges when needed.
• Contribute to design discussions, providing input on technical solutions.
• Achieve AI fluency and use AI to improve productivity.
• Implement tactical sub-tasks within larger projects related to the lifetime of a Google Account, under the guidance of senior engineers.
