Data Center Technician III, Third Party Data Center

Requirements:

• Experience with assembly of mechanical or electrical systems, or performing component-level repairs and troubleshooting on technical equipment.
• Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware and server hardware.
• Experience with networking protocols.
• Ability to lift/move 50lb (23kg) of equipment and exert yourself physically over extended periods.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, holidays, and on shift-based schedules.

Nice to haves:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in server hardware maintenance/repair and troubleshooting/diagnosing.
• Advanced networking knowledge, including basic topology and protocol understanding.
• Advanced level Linux skills, including installation, systems administration, and troubleshooting.
• Fluent communication in English to engage with clients in the region.

What you'll be doing:

• Deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across teams.
• Report issues and troubleshoot and diagnose equipment or infrastructure problems.
• Maintain the security and integrity of data.
• Disassemble end-of-life equipment for maintenance.
• Repair, fix, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment, servers, machines, or infrastructure.
